Dear Sheila,
In my opinion, luck corners or `sector' Feng Shui or paying homage to corners are equally "non-existent' or unreliable / undependable situations. This is considered a modern invention is too general to be of use for many of us.
You should treat the small figurine as a decor item in your home.
