Dear Master Cecil:
I have seen your suggestion of several ways to determine the direction of a house:
1. the direction of the living room situates in a house.
2.1. the direction that a compass tells while standing at the center point (crossing point of the two diagonal lines of the rectangular) of the house and facing the middle point of the front entrance.
2.2 determine the direction at the front entrance if there are difficulties to get a measurement with the option 2.1 (for example, there are walls or a pillar at the center point).
Which method is the traditional, standard, and preferred method of determining the direction of a house?
Regards,
Anon

Excellent site. The best for beginners and for more advanced "amateurs". Hopefully, I will continue learning from it, and eventually become a premium member. Keep it up and prosper.... (I am learning that myself from my slow progress in I Ching and Fengshui).
