Dear Peck Wun,
1. I hope you can understand that there are alreay available resources on this. Plus, there are lots of examples and even actual cases of how centrepoint was derived in attachments by uses.
2. For a lay person who wants to understand better, then go to this resource:
https://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm
Look at the example of how, one can copy the layout; glue it on a cardboard, cut-it out and try to balance it on a pin. The centrepoint is all about: the centre of graivty. This is particularly possible if the house has lots of indents. But if the house is `L' shaped, then divide the home into two or more rectangles.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
