Where possible, if you can try not place the clock as mentioned. Is is not auspicious to let it hang above the kitchen door nor face the stove. Erh... can you do away with such a clock if there is no other locations to place it?

The clock should normally not face the side of the bed. An alternative is to place it behind your head.
A clock facing a window is meant to deflect sha qi. If there is no sha qi or poison arrows, the advise is to avoid having it face the window.
