Dear Steven,
The two most common metal `cures' are:
1. The six coins which represent `Big Metal'.
2. Some other Feng Shui practitioners sell a brass / copper `Feng Shui ruler'. Because of the content of `metal' in it, these practitioners want you to buy it. To them, it is the equivalent of `Big metal.'
As the `life sized' ruler is indeed made of metal, one cannot argue that it is not a `metal' - cure. Since it is like the size of a normal ruler, it contains quite alot of metal.
3. The Bells if they are made of metal can be considered `metal' but to the extend; it is difficult to say if it represents `Big metal' or not.
In a previous posting, I mentioned that bells have a significance during a ceremony for the dead.
The Chinese belief that ringing the bell during the funeral procession allows the person's spirit to be guided e.g. to his/her new home e.g. a new grave.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
