Dear Kaushal,

1. Generally, if one finds pictures pleasing to the eye, there is really no hard or fast rule in the placement.

2. The pictures that one should avoid are those that symbolically represent fierce animals, hanging of swords of such sort.

Otherwise, hang pictures at locations which you or your family member `likes'.
