Dear Anita,
There are three `issues' regarding the computer:
1. The Video Display Screen which is made of glass. Depending on the type
of computer screen used, some are `reflective'. If you have read many
messages on `avoiding' mirrors in the bedroom, here, the computer screen =
mirror and should preferably not face any part of the bed. If so, you can
simply use a computer cover or a cloth to cover it when not in use.
2. Some Feng Shui Masters believe that computers are `electrical' and
belongs to the water element. In this case, if will affect those
particularly those with `weak' fire element.
3. As computers are `electrical' there will be some form of magnetic
interference and some believe that it is not good to place it at one's
auspicious location. Furthermore, again depending on the brand of the
monitor screen, some may be low radiation, while others `high' radiation.
Some FS practioners will ask one to place plants. A NASA study had found
plants good for indoors and outdoors.
Personally, I feel point number 1 is the most important consideration. But
again, like I mention, it all depends on the QUALITY of the personal
computers purchased. Many good computers have screens that do not reflect
thus no longer act as a mirror. While others are very low radiation and
safe.
In Feng Shui, we again should not go too detailed into " peanut " Feng Shui
but rather go with our feelings in this area. I will be more worried if your
bed faces the toilet bowl or it faces directly the door. As I mentioned,
place these at locations where you feel "correct" is the most important
thing.

User's Comments Dear Sir, I will be getting my resales flat soon and would like to advise on the feng shui before moving in. I had check in your website and was very impressive of the services provided. Regards -- Thank you for your response Mr. Lee. I really wish you could be somewhere here near manila-philippines so i could have my unit checked. It is such a relief to get your opinion most specially when you mentioned that fengshui should not be so rigid. I also agree with you when you say that little lucky ornaments being promoted by some masters are for business intentions and non-sense. Best regards and more power to you and your team. |
